Multi Table Tournaments and Rakeback

If you are primarily a multi table tournament  (MTT) player, than you really need to be looking at rakeback from an entirely different point of view than cash game players would.

For starters, not every poker room offers tournament rebates, or rakeback on tournament buyins.

Full Tilt for instance does offer a rebate to tournament players, however, they also deduct from bonuses for rakeback, another thing to keep in mind.

Carbon Poker however, since earlier in 2009,  also pays a rebate on tournament fee’s, yet does not deduct for bonuses. You don’t earn rake on seats you won or didn’t pay for however. So no deal for the satellite seats.

Minted Poker is offering 40% rakeback on tourney fee’s, and they also don’t deduct for bonuses.

The lesson here isn’t just that Rakeback can surely improve your ev, quietly padding your bankroll, and protecting you from dwindling away value in tournament fee’s of course.

That’s true and all, however, there’s more to it. You have to really find the best deal for you personally. For instance, if you can get 40% Rakeback from Cellsino Poker, without bonus deductions, why would you play at Full Tilt (aside from fabulous tournament offerings at Full Tilt of course ;).

There are indeed articles online that will tell you that due to variance, rakeback won’t have an visible effect on your ROI, I’m here to tell you .. That’s crap.

First, signing up with a solid rakeback site will save you about 1/3 of all tournament buy fee’s. That number varies some from room to room, so be sure to browse through some of our reviews, and find the best deal for you.

That’s not going to line your driveway in gold or anything, but it is going to pad your bankroll over time with… your money.

Next let’s look at the added benefits having a rakeback deal with StacktheRake specifically adds for you.

Every single month, stacktherake members are eligible to play in amazing exclusive freerolls. We’re talking 1-20k prize pools, exclusive entry, and no buy-in.

Now win a few of these events head on over to sharkscope.com  and see just what it does for your ROI.

Every third tournament, you’ve saved yourself the fee. So if you’re playing $60+$6 tourney’s on Full Tilt for instance, you’re saving yourself $2 per tournament. Every three tournaments, you get an entire fee free. Or, look at it this way, every 30 tournaments, and you get a whole damn freeroll out of the deal.

If you’re a multi tabling MTT player, and you don’t have a rakeback deal… what are you waiting for? Someone’s stacking your rake, why not you?
