Dealt Rakeback
Dealt rakeback is the most favored of all online poker rakeback methods. The reason for this is the way Dealt Rakeback is paid, awarding a player for every raked hand they are dealt in, regardless of whether they contribute one chips, many hips or no chips at all.
Most poker players who seek out online poker rakeback deals are skilled, strategic poker players, looking for a new strategy to add to their armory. Rakeback is one such poker strategy, achieving the same goal of all other strategies – increasing profits and reducing losses on the virtual felt.
Dealt Rakeback is a profitable online poker rakeback method for all poker players, since anyone can earn rakeback for every raked hand they are dealt in. On average, it pays a lower amount of rakeback per hand, but when you consider that you are earning rakeback more frequently, it becomes more valuable.
How Dealt Rakeback Works
Dealt Rakeback pays a player a percentage of the total shared rake for every hand they receive cards in. There is no need to contribute chips to the pot to earn rakeback. Contributing chips will not increase your rakeback earnings per hand. So long as the hand is raked, Dealt Rakeback will be earned.
The total rake is divided by all players dealt in the hand to get a median, shared rake amount. The median rake is where your Dealt Rakeback comes from.
Let’s go over a few examples to show how much Dealt Rakeback a player can earn in a typical hand. We’ll use the average rakeback of 30%, and the industry standard rake of 5% up to $3 in each of our examples below.
Example 1: You are seated at a table of 6 players. The pot climbs to $60 before the hand goes to a showdown. A $60 pot is raked at $3 (5%).
The $3 total rake is divided by all 6 players for a shared rake of $0.50. Your Dealt Rakeback is 30% of the $0.50 shared rake, for a total of $0.15 in Dealt Rakeback for the hand.
Example 2: You are playing at a full table of 9 players. The pot reaches $45, raked at $2.25.
We divide the total $2.25 rake by all 9 players dealt in the hand for a median rake of $0.25. You receive 30% of the shared rake for a total of $0.075 in Dealt Rakeback.
Calculating Dealt Rakeback
Dealt Rakeback is one of the easiest online poker rakeback methods to calculate because there is so little involved in the formula.
Step 1: Divide the total rake by the number of players dealt cards in the hand.
Rake / Players = Shared Raked
Step 2: Divide the shared rake by your rakeback percentage (average 30%).
Shared Rake / Rakeback Percentage = Rakeback
That’s it! The sum of the shared rake divided by your rakeback percentage is the amount you will receive in Dealt Rakeback.
